SAR-TFA is the floating aid kit used in combination with TYRAH AR and NE-XT for the recovery of an injured patient in the aquatic environment, including by lifting (Tyrah AR).

The SAR-TFA was created to assist in the flotation and recovery of patients in aquatic environments, ensuring all handling precautions that are routinely applied to trauma patients.

The SAR-TFA allows for assisted flotation (50 N) and prevents the patient's head from tilting downwards. Using the special evacuation triangle (Tyrah AR) to which the kit is attached, an immobilized patient can be transported using the NE-XT by lifting them.
