This flame-resistant, anti-static balaclava is made from Marina Textil's breathable, lightweight fabric, MARKO P270, which feels great against the skin. It offers protection against cold, heat, flames, and any type of sparks or incandescent metal particles. It also contains anti-static fibers that prevent electrostatic charges.
Its design, with openings for the eyes, keeps the head, face, and neck covered, providing a very comfortable feeling of warmth in these areas. It fits comfortably on the head thanks to the elasticity of its flame-retardant fabric. Its design is looser in the neck area and has minimal seams, allowing it to be worn under a protective helmet without causing any discomfort.
This garment is certified with the European CE marking as Category II PPE, in accordance with EN ISO 13688 - Protective clothing, general requirements - and EN ISO 11612 - Protective clothing for workers exposed to heat and flames - achieving an A1 rating for limited flame spread, B1 for convective heat, and C1 for radiant heat. It also meets the EN 1149-5 standard – Electrostatic properties of protective clothing.
